Dear Dancers,

We are so excited to welcome you to another season of movement, creativity, performance, and community!

Whether you're returning to Beatz Adult Dance Company or considering joining us for the first time, we can't wait to dance with you this year.

Adult Company is designed for dancers looking for performance opportunities, artistic growth, and connection with a supportive community. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or stepping back into the studio after years away, there's a place for you here.

Adult Company at a Glance

• Annual Adult Dance Company Showcase (typically held in mid-April) with dress rehearsal typically night before show. Rehearsal & Showcase date & location TBD

• Flexible 4-week rehearsal sessions with choices of Monday, Tuesday and/or Friday night rehearsals

• Opportunities to participate in one or multiple routines

• A welcoming and supportive dance community

Registration & Tuition

Registration Fee: $75 due at time of registration
Includes:

• Season registration

• 2026 Beatz Adult Dance Co Keepsake (wearable item)

• Opening and Closing Showcase Routines

This fee will be manually posted and charged on our end after registration. Should you not see a balance after registering, we will be sure all charges are appropriately added and charged.
 

Pre-registered dancers have already secured their spot and had this fee waived. Or, if you committed at Open House, you have already been enrolled and charged the registration fee.

Payment Options

Session Option

• $60 per routine/session-will be billed the first of each month you are participating or one week prior if mid-month start date

All-Inclusive Membership

• $85/month (September-April) 

• Unlimited recreational adult classes including Tap, Heels, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and more.

• Includes built in technique weeks (see more info below)

• Up to four Company routines/sessions

Additional routines receive a 10% discount.

What's New This Season?

More Scheduling Flexibility
In addition to Friday rehearsals, we'll continue offering Monday and Tuesday options, along with both full-season and half-season commitments. As our company continues to grow, we are committed to creating flexible options that accommodate dancers of all experience levels.

This year, dancers may choose between two commitment tracks: a full-season commitment (September–April) or a half-season commitment (January–April). The full-season option is ideal for returning company members and more experienced dancers who are looking for a more intensive performance and learning experience. The half-season option is designed for new company members and/or beginner-level dancers who may prefer a shorter introduction to the company.

Built-In Technique Weeks
This season we are excited to add built-in technique weeks for certain sessions. Meaning, if you are cast in a certain session, we may be holding a technique class the week prior matching the style to the piece to allow choreographers an opportunity to give a sneak-peek of specific skills that will be put into the piece and some take-aways on how to work on the skills at home throughout the session. Our sessions that have these built-in technique classes are either not styles we offer regularly in our recreational schedule, or require a bit more technique than 4-week sessions allow. Please see the schedule below for more details. 

Any company member is welcome to participate in these technique weeks, even if not cast in the piece following. These technique weeks will be $5/class or covered under the adult co membership. Each of these technique weeks will require enrollment, dancers in those specific styles are highly encouraged to attend.

 

Back To Dance Workshops
Another exciting addition to this season, we will be holding workshops early-mid August specifically for our Adult Dance Company. If you are a returning company member, this is very similar to our “sampler sessions” we have held in the past. This year, we are requiring all adult company members attend at least one session of the style(s) you are interested in taking. We understand Summer can be busy and life also happens, however this allows our choreographers an opportunity to see dancers move in their style before casting pieces. Should you have a specific situation where you absolutely can not attend any of the workshop sessions, please let Lynsey or Alycia know. See schedule below for more info. 

Collaborative Choreography Opportunities
Company members may submit ideas to choreograph a collaborative piece for fellow dancers. Selected pieces must include at least three dancers and will be chosen based on style, concept, scheduling, and showcase needs. There is an option on the google form to select interest in this. After this season, collaborative opportunities will be invite only, however all members are welcome to submit a concept. We do not guarantee your submission will be chosen. 

 

Costuming

In past seasons, we have asked company members to supply their own costumes with specific parameters for each piece. Costuming for all pieces will be given later in the season but still with ample notice to prepare. We give inspo pics, specific links if anything needs to be ordered, etc. 

While we will continue this same process, new to this season we will be offering a rental or purchase option. We have several boxes of adult costumes/ pieces that are available to buy or rent. When costuming details are released, company members will be able to look through our inventory and should anything be fitting for their piece(s) they will be able to rent items for $5/each and purchase for $10/each. Hair pieces & accessories will be $3-$5/each. 

We will also invite company members to do a “costume swap” where dancers can bring in past costumes/pieces to trade/share with other members.

• Tuesday: 8/11- Tap (7-8pm)

• Wednesday; 8/12- Hip Hop (7-8 pm)

• Monday: 8/17- Theater Jazz (7-8 pm)

• Tuesday: 8/18- Heels (7-8 pm)

• Wednesday: 8/19- Ballet/ Modern (7-8 pm)

Each workshop (individual class) will be $5/class. We can charge for this via Portal or via cash, check or Venmo. Each individual workshop has also been entered into the system for you to enroll in.

Below this information, you will find the layout for the upcoming Adult Co Sessions. You will find the dates for the sessions and the dates for the Technique Classes.The styles coordinating with the specific weeks will be shared after the Summer Workshops.

Communication

In addition to email, we use an app called BAND to communicate all things Adult Company. This is also where we create private chats for each piece where choreographers will share videos after each rehearsal and share any other important details including footwear, choreography, etc. An invite for this app will go out via email  at the start of the season.

Ready to Join Us?

Please complete the Adult Company Interest Form by July 28 to share your availability, style preferences, and membership selection. Preferences will be considered ONLY if you’ve filled out the google form. Any member who does not fill out the form will be cast as choreographers see fit.

Returning Dancers: Enroll in "Adult Dance Company 2026-2027" through the Parent Portal.

New to Beatz: Create an account and register in the above class through the Parent Portal.

​

Once all company members have committed and all pieces have been cast, we will manually enroll you in all of your pieces individually in our system. If paying by individual session, these fees will be posted at the beginning of the season but will be charged by session. Your portal access will only show you the total balance and not an individual breakdown, so should you have questions please reach out to Lynsey: lynsey.beatrice@beatzdance.com
