Adult Classes
Sept 2024-May 2025

Classes begin the week of 9/3 (Monday classes begin 9/9).  Please Note: Tuesday Adult Hip Hop and Adult Tap Advanced are Recital classes. 

Have you always wanted to try a dance class, but are not sure where to start? Have you taken dance in the past and would like to return? Are you looking for a low-impact exercise that benefits both your mind and body.  Beatz Adult program offers a variety of classes and levels for you to try.

Adult Zumba

During a Zumba® class, you'll follow choreography with footwork that works your leg muscles, arm movements that tone your arm muscles and squats that can tighten your glute and core muscles. Whether you're new to the dance fitness world or have been taking different types of dance exercise classes for a while, you'll experience the post-workout feel from a Zumba® class the next day, throughout your entire body.

Adult DYHO

Do you have an interest in multiple different styles but don't know where to start? Try out our Adult spin on our popular children's program "Dance Your Heart Out". In this class, we will explore different styles such as contemporary, lyrical, jazz, modern and more!

No experience required and drop-in friendly. The teacher will rotate throughout the styles either weekly or monthly depending upoin registration

Adult Ballet Tone & Technique

Strengthen your muscles, improve your coordination, express yourself, and more with Ballet Tone & Technique!

No experience necessary.  Exercises are modifiable to challenge every level

Ballet technique is combined with a toning workout, which uses body resistance and gravity to strengthen your abs, legs, arms, and back.

Post Partum and Movement

Adult Dancer's Way To Wellness

Baby & Me Movin'

Postpartum and Movement is a space for new parents to connect with all the versions of themselves they cannot remember and all the versions they hope to become. We will come together to breathe, cry, laugh, drink coffee, sleep, stretch and DANCE. Miss Keegan is a licensed clinical therapist trained in peri and postpartum care and wellness , and prefers to reject the medical definition of the postpartum timeline, and it's limitations. This space is open to all new parents regardless of how old your babies are. If you feel like a postpartum and movement class is right for you, you’re most likely correct, no matter how long it has been! Come be together with us. Babies welcome.

**Looking to attend but have a little at home?  Open Play for older children will be available in our neighboring studio (same building) supervised by our staff.

Dancer's Way to Wellness is a platform that emphasizes the connection between mental health and movement. Our mission is to help individuals achieve a state of balance and well-being through dance and movement practices. Join us on this journey towards a healthier mind and body.

Introducing our new fitness class designed specifically for new parents who want to stay active while baby wearing. Our classes are tailored to help you regain your strength and energy, all while bonding with your little one. Join us for a fun and supportive workout experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.  Ages 8 weeks -10mths

Adult Hip Hop

Adult hip-hop classes where you can slay. You'll find your groove in a fun, judgement-free environment. Learn the fundamental skills, combinations and feel comfortable with free style. We will have two offerings of hip hop with different teachers providing equally fun but different learning environments. 

Please Note:  The Tuesday class performs in our year end recital and requires regular attendance.

Wednesday, 7:15-8:00pm

Adult Tap

Dancing is good for the soul and what better way than to tap! Tap dance tones leg muscles, burns fat and improves balance. Give your brain and body a workout without realizing it. While the legs do the bulk of the workout, in many steps the arms are lifted above the shoulders, which strengthens and tones those muscles. This combination of arms and legs moving together elevates the heart rate, creating a good cardiovascular workout.

Please Note:  Advanced level performs in our year end recital and requires regular attendance.

Adults, 18 and over, are welcome to participate in these classes designed for all abilities. If you are a dancer looking to continue your passion for dance, someone who danced as a child and would like to begin again or those who have never danced before but are looking for exercise in a fun environment, here is your chance.

Adult Class Payment Options:

* FREE with either the Adult or Family Membership 

*can be paid per class at $15.00

OR

*Class Card (10 classes for $125)

New participants must first complete enrollment online. Class card can be purchased online
